I feel like I’ve been “running” from the “algorithm pattyrollers” for so long….especially since March 24, 2022, when the first issue of my REAL DEIL™️ newsletter debuted on the “professional” social media platform, LinkedIn.
When LinkedIn rejected my application to have a course on LinkedIn Learning, the Lord turned it into a Romans 8:28 moment, and the REAL DEIL™️ was born — heart work content to counsel, to convict, and to change. The Lord expanded my reach, and many folks subscribed and have joined me on this journey. Thank you!
From the newsletter came new relationships, collaborations, projects, and clients.
What’s sprung forth from my being a self-proclaimed “LinkedIn Top Suppressed Black Voice” has confounded those that are wise in their own eyes. IYKYK
I’m excited to announce that the REAL DEIL™️ will live on……right here in its new home on my website–a place of safety, non-censoring, and no semantic-acrobatics in order to outrun LinkedIn’s racist algorithm.
Due to my assignments changing and with the addition of new assignments, there will no longer be a weekly Thursday edition. I’ll publish the newsletter on an ad-hoc basis to align with my bandwidth availability.
What do I mean by that?
Well….after working 100% virtual for more than 2.5 years–a necessary pivot arising from the pandemic, I have officially resumed in-person client work (domestic and international), in addition to continuing with virtual, on-demand, and hybrid DEI and anti-racism education offerings.
There is no way I could do this on my own strength. With Yahuah, all things are possible! He lights the path and guides my feet.

- Launch of a premium offering, “The Impactivist Experience™️” which we’ve dubbed “Black T.I.E.” for leadership teams serious about equity and inclusion. The customizable experience includes in-person, on-demand, & live virtual modalities; one-on-one coaching; group coaching; surveying and data collection/data analysis; action plans; resource & how-to guides; highly interactive real-life scenario-based learning; trackable & measurable accountability systems; asynchronous long-term support community. - Penning of my 5th book with a tentative publication date of November 2023 and a working title, The REAL DEIL on How DEI Gets Colonized.
