What Clients Are Saying About Our Anti-Racism & Inclusion Training

This was the first time I've been in one of these types of training where the tone provided a safe learning environment. The pace, the topic transition, the giving people space for feelings, and the opportunity to improve, brainstorm, and be welcomed to the individual accountability table were masterfully done. I wish I had attended years ago. Seriously fantastic work!

Theresa Robinson’s Anti Racism and Inclusion Leadership Training is superb. In my opinion it is exactly what our society needs at this moment. She gives participants tools to break down walls between people. She provides the knowledge to dispel misunderstanding. She helps people see a way forward on a road they have been afraid or unwilling to travel. Her motivational, non-judgmental approach could bring major benefits to any organization.

I like that Theresa warned us we would feel uncomfortable and that she pushed everyone into discomfort. I think this workshop has the potential to help a lot of people grow. I learned a lot about differences in key terms, about microaggressions, and about micro interactions of inclusion.

I really liked the importance of the content; the clarity of the goals anad presentation of the workshop; the enthusiasm and skills of the workshop facilitator.

I liked that the workshop was non-judgmental, non-threatening, informative, useful, and provided concrete strategies.

I enjoyed the opportunity to reflect on my own actions, reassess my biases, and confront uncomfortable questions.

I've taken a few anti-racism courses and trainings, and this one was the best by far. The facilitator was engaging, welcoming, and inclusive, and the content was relevant, thought provoking, and, most importantly, useful.

It wasn't as scary as I thought. It was fun, engaging, and powerful!

Theresa is a great teacher and human being. She is knowledgeable, thoughtful, compassionate and patient. She is precise in dissecting and presenting with care a subject fraught with anxiety and uncertainty by many. Highly recommended.

I learned many concepts of DEI that I was unaware of, and the facilitator was very interactive.

Theresa was amazing and made what is often a difficult topic meaningful AND fun. Great pace and breakout groups / activities etc. More importantly this definitely increased my knowledge and progress / confidence when tackling DEI topics.

The workshop was fantastic! I enjoyed the facilitator and have a better understanding of what DEI means.

Theresa does a masterful job - she is warm, engaging, authentic

Facilitator was fantastic at including everyone and drawing everyone into discussions

An excellent experience considering the limitations of time and technology.

The workshop was engaging, well-paced, thought-provoking, and informative. It built on previous sessions we'd had with the facilitator to really cement key themes, and it culminated with practical takeaways that we'll use immediately.

On the journey to becoming a better leader, especially in the areas of inclusion and being actively anti-racist, I needed a safe space to get uncomfortable. This course provided both that safety, as well as an understanding of where I have more work to do. It's not easy nor comfortable, but it's valuable as an employee, a leader, and especially as a human.

I really appreciated Theresa's ability and willingness to engage each participant individually and on a personal level. I believe this should be a required training for anyone in a leadership position.

I liked working through real-world examples because it gives me tangible things that I can do in the workplace.

The session packs a lot of good stuff into just two hours, things that made me think but also moved me in the direction of action.

Theresa brings her whole self to every encounter and meets participants where they are to bring the group along to arrive at a better place. Don't think she's a softy - she leans in to invite you to step into uncomfortable spaces and somehow makes it not as horrible as you feared. Her challenging but supportive approach, deep subject matter expertise and ability to intuit what her audience needs results in a satisfyingly effective exchange where I walked away delightedly surprised to have received exactly what I needed to take the next steps.

This course definitely challenged some of my thinking and gave me a clear framework of how to approach racism and being an ally and anti-racist.

Theresa was engaging and she created a good environment for discussion, which is hard to do virtually!

Well-structured anti-racism training, starting with the basics and moving to more personal and action-based work.

Liked Theresa showing up and setting context by sharing her state and stating her intention to engage. The gameshow format worked well to keep the audience engaged.

A good mix of hearing and participating in our own thought processes and action items and talking about them in small groups

Theresa drove engagement, involved people, didn't answer questions herself, created conversation.

Real life examples; helpful vocabulary; love the 90-day training mission action step

She created and facilitated a safe space in order to introspect and internalize the discussions
